There has always for me, been a clear relationship between yoga and food both have deep roots of tradition and culture and both are designed to feed body and soul!
I read this recently and it stayed with me so I thought I would share as I liked it so much.
When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use,
When diet is correct, medicine is of no need.
Interesting! So it led me to look at my own relationship with food and yoga, the first thing I realised is I am in love with both. I know after years, that going through the motion of each asanas (pose) is not enough, you need the right fuel and to encourage healthy food habits. It’s a lifestyle!
