Pizza delivery by drones! Mumbai outlet successfully tests drone delivery.

Ladies and Gentleman, the world is changing, and how! Francesco’s Pizzeria in Mumbai successfully accomplished pizza delivery by a four-rotor unarmed drone, which took off from the pizza outlet in the Lower Parel area of Mumbai and delivered it to Worli.

Here’s a video of the same, which shows the drone making it’s way through several crowded streets and high rises.

Ofcourse making this a practice is a big challenge, especially in a country like India. This is the first time drone delivery was talked about in India, however last year Amazon made headlines when they suggested plans for 30 minute deliveries with the help of drones.

Cons are too many:

1. Expensive : They say such delivery presently cost way more than what the Indian consumer can even think of paying for something they have been used to getting for free. “Free Home Delivery”
