We were worried in the past about a future that is the present, and now we are worried again about a future that will be past even before we know. Worrying only saps the energy away and leaves us more worried. Worrying when in trouble is like digging the ditch deeper with the hope of jumping out of it. Worrying is tiring, but we seem to worry helplessly, as if we are tuned to be worried.
When will we stop worrying? What will we accomplish by being worried? Life is too short to waste time worrying. So, “don’t worry. make merry”.
